Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucaristic Ministers) aid in the distribution of Holy Eucharist, both the Body and Blood of Christ. Training is required for this ministry as a person must receive the proper education and disposition for distributing Holy Communion. Training can be done by two different methods. The Parish schedules training as needed or you may attend diocesan training classes through the Pastoral Formation Institute to receive certification.
